Reviews/Books

I love to read. If it's written well, boasts interesting and believable characters, and can hit my mental g-spot with a sexy plot, I'm in. I mostly go in for historical erotica, short fiction, female submission w/male dominants, romantic concepts, and true stories. I'm a voyeur at heart, so memoir really grabs me. But, first person narratives are almost as satisfying. I'm not as likely to read or review gay/lesbian fiction (though I'm not against it), and I'm not as turned on by male submission. If you are interested in having me review one of your books/stories, please email me at kinkykitty@live.com. I'm also willing to host one of your excerpts, an interview, or guest post. Just drop me a line! During the 2016 year, I'm focusing on short fiction...so I prefer short stories for now. I simply haven't had the time to do any really good book reviews, but a story? That I can probably manage!

Anthologies:

Serving Him ed. Rachel Kramer Bussel

Morning, Noon, and Night ed. Alison Tyler

Novels:

Wuthering Nights by I.J. Miller

The Birth House by Ami McKay

I also highly suggest her second novel The Virgin Cure, which is a story about a young gypsy girl who is sold into prostitution - her maidenhead meant to bring in a large deal of money to help her family. During her "training," she meets a young female doctor who tries her best to convince these young girls that there are alternatives. The concept and history behind the novel are not only interesting, but disturbing. Sex with a virgin as a cure for syphilis? Good God.
